What are the opening hours for the Butlers Factory Tour?

The Butlers Factory Tour is open from Wednesday - Sunday. Tour times will depend on the time of year. 

Can I visit the Butlers Factory Tour without booking in advance?

Unfortunately not, you must book in advance to visit the Butlers Chocolate Experience. However, you can drop in to the onsite Butlers Chocolate Café any time during opening hours.

Is the Butlers Factory Tour wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the Butlers Chocolate Experience is fully accessible.

Why must I book in advance to visit the Butlers Factory Tour?

To offer the best possible experience to our visitors, each tour is set up to cater for an exact amount of visitor bookings, unfortunately, we can not cater for numbers greater than this.

When I book, how do I receive a ticket?

When you book online or by phone, you will receive a confirmation of booking by email, which you should bring with you on the day of the tour.

How long does a tour take at the Butlers Factory Tour?

Butlers, the factory tour lasts approximately 90 minutes per tour. This includes the entire experience from the museum, to the chocolate demonstration. This can vary slightly during seasonal events/depending on group size.

Is there a cancellation charge?

All online bookings for the Butlers Chocolate Experience are non-refundable. 

What age group is the Butlers Factory Tour suitable for?

Butlers Chocolate Experience is suitable for chocolate lovers of all ages and children under three go free.

I am allergic to milk/nuts; can I visit the Butlers Factory Tour?

There are nuts, milk, and soya products in our factory. We advise that anyone with allergies to these products not to eat our chocolates. Peanuts are strictly prohibited in the building. We confirm also that gluten is present on site.

How much does it cost to visit Butlers Factory Tour?

Is there parking onsite?

There is plenty of complimentary parking available.

Is it okay to take photos while on the tour?

It is only permissible to take photos while in the Experience room at the end of the tour. Cameras, Mobile Phones and Recording Equipment are strictly prohibitted on the Balcony Tour
