How do I get to the Butlers Chocolate Experience?

What are the opening hours for the Butlers Chocolate Experience?

The Butlers Chocolate Experience is open Monday to Saturday for tours which run three times daily, subject to availability. Please note that production in the factory does not take place on a Saturday.

Can I visit the Butlers Chocolate Experience without booking in advance?

Unfortunately not, you must book in advance to visit the Butlers Chocolate Experience. However, you can drop in to the onsite Butlers Chocolate Café any time during opening hours.

Is the Butlers Chocolate Experience wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the Butlers Chocolate Experience is fully accessible.

Why must I book in advance to visit the Butlers Chocolate Experience?

To offer the best possible experience to our visitors, each tour is set up to cater for an exact amount of visitor bookings, unfortunately, we can not cater for numbers greater than this.

When I book, how do I receive a ticket?

When you book online or by phone, you will receive a confirmation of booking by email, which you should bring with you on the day of the tour.

Is the Butlers Chocolate Experience suitable for groups or individuals?

The Butlers Chocolate Experience is open to both individuals and groups. If you could like to make a group booking, you will find more details here.

How long does a tour take at the Butlers Chocolate Experience?

The Ultimate Chocolate Experience takes approximately 1.5 hours and the cooking demos last for approximately 2.5 hours.

Is there a cancellation charge?

All online bookings for the Butlers Chocolate Experience are non-refundable. 

What age group is the Butlers Chocolate Experience suitable for?

Butlers Chocolate Experience is suitable for chocolate lovers of all ages and children under three go free.

I am allergic to milk/nuts; can I visit the Butlers Chocolate Experience?

There are nuts, milk, and soya products in our factory. We advise that anyone with allergies to these products not to eat our chocolates. Peanuts are strictly prohibited in the building. We confirm also that gluten is present on site.

How much does it cost to visit Butlers Chocolate Experience?

Butlers Ultimate Chocolate Experience Tour: Prices start from €13.50 per person
Butlers Cookery Classes: Prices start from €40 per person. 

Is there parking onsite?

There is plenty of complimentary parking available.

Can I just visit the Butlers Chocolate Café onsite?

Certainly, Butlers Chocolate Café Clonshaugh is open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Is it okay to take photos while on the tour?

It is only permissible to take photos while in the Experience room at the end of the tour.
